Necessary Paperwork

REQUIRED FOR ALL EMPLOYEES
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- We need to see original documents from ALL employees - even returnees! (blame it on the Feds)
- Complete details on acceptable documents are available at
http://www.formi9.com/i-9.pdf (Click the link and then scroll down to page 4 for the complete list) - The most common documents we see are:
- A U.S. passport (expired or unexpired) - if you have this, it's all the ID you'll need to prove you can work in the U.S.
- If you don't have a passport then you need to bring 2 things:
- A form of ID that establishes your identity (like a driver's license; a military, state or school ID with a picture)
- A form of ID that establishes your U.S. employment eligibility (such as a Social Security card or an original or certified copy of your birth certificate)
OR
AND
- YOU CANNOT WORK UNTIL THESE ACTUAL DOCUMENTS ARE PROVIDED BY YOU, IN PERSON (again...blame it on the Feds)
UNDER 18 YEARS OLD?

- You must provide a photocopy of the above documents (this is a WA state requirement)
- Also - parent/legal guardian signatures are required on numerous forms! Very important.
- AND: you need to get your Parent/School Authorization form signed and turned into HR BEFORE you can start work!
- Call 425.434.7669 x6300 to request these forms and we'll mail them to you before the job fairs so you can get the signatures from parents and schools before you arrive at the Job Fair. Convenient!

| The government is very serious about enforcing employment policies - and we comply with the law. | A few minutes of paperwork can yield a season FULL of awesomeness. Even though it's a pain to write your name THAT many times. Every season. We appreciate that you do it! |
